Support for Cast Members
On the evening of November 21, Liu Yong, the producer of “In the Octagonal Cage,” stated that the authorization contract with Enbo was clearly established, and all payments had been completed as required by them. Liu also mentioned that Wang Baoqiang had visited Enbo, who was ill and hospitalized, and personally covered 300,000 yuan in medical expenses. Additionally, Wang has been supporting the education of children involved in “In the Octagonal Cage.”
On November 22, Jiupai News reached out to the father of a young actor, Su Langdarji, mentioned in Liu Yong’s shared chat records. The father confirmed that his child had indeed received financial assistance from Wang Baoqiang. “The schooling and living expenses are all provided by him,” he stated.
He noted that since the film’s release, Wang Baoqiang had continuously supported the child, funding their education from sixth grade through the first year of junior high school, amounting to approximately 20,000 yuan over two years.
The father expressed that while he had minimal direct communication with Wang Baoqiang, he perceives him as a good person. The assistance has significantly improved his family’s economic situation, alleviating concerns over the child’s school fees and living expenses.
