Less than four months after taking office, Liu Feng, the former secretary of Jingdezhen Municipal Party Committee, was removed from the position of the Finance and Economic Committee of Jiangxi Provincial People’s Congress.
On January 9th, the People’s Congress of Jiangxi Province announced the dismissal of Liu Feng from his position as Deputy Director of the Financial Economics Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial People’s Congress.
On the same day, the 14th People’s Congress Standing Committee of Jiangxi Province held its 14th meeting and decided to accept Liu Feng’s resignation from his position as a member of the Standing Committee of the 14th People’s Congress of Jiangxi Province and report it to the Third Session of the 14th People’s Congress of Jiangxi Province for archival filing.
Born in August 1964, Liu Feng previously served as the member of the Standing Committee of the Shangrao Municipal Party Committee, the secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Shangrao Economic and Technological Development Zone, the member of the Standing Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor of Jingdezhen Municipal Party Committee, the deputy mayor of Jingdezhen City, and finally as the secretary of Jingdezhen Municipal Party Committee in March 2021.
In early September 2024, Liu Feng resigned from his position as secretary of Jingdezhen Municipal Party Committee. Subsequently, at the 11th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th People’s Congress of Jiangxi Province on September 26th, Liu Feng was appointed as Deputy Director of the Financial Economics Committee of Jiangxi Provincial People’s Congress, a position he has held for less than four months as of now.
