Leadership of Aerospace Technology Adjusted: Pang Jin, Director of General Administration of Market Supervision Assumes Position as Deputy Secretary of the Party Group.
On January 11th, The Paper investigated the official website of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Aerospace Science and Technology Group”) and noticed that the members of the Group’s leadership team have undergone some changes, with two new appointments and one resignation. Specifically, Pang Jin has been appointed as the director and deputy secretary of the Party Leadership Group, and Li Jun has been appointed as a member of the Party Group’s leading group and deputy general manager. The former director and deputy secretary of the Group, Fang Xiangming, has stepped down from his position.
Among them, Pang Jin who newly took up the position has previously served in government departments such as the State Administration for Market Regulation. Li Jun previously served at China Telecom Group Corporation.
According to public information, Pang Jin is a male, Han nationality, Communist Party member, born in May 1972. He holds a Ph.D. in law and previously served as the deputy director of the Anti-monopoly Bureau of the National Development and Reform Commission, deputy director of the Comprehensive Planning Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, deputy director of the Price Supervision Inspection and Anti-Unfair Competition Bureau, and director of the Network Transaction Supervision and Management Department.
Li Jun was born in July 1975 and graduated from Wuhan Geodesy and Cartography University with a bachelor’s degree in Information Engineering in 1996. He obtained his Ph.D. from Wuhan University in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing in February 2022. He started working in February 2002 and previously served as Director of the Planning Science and Technology Department of China Electronics & Information Technology Group Corporation, Director of the General Office, Director of the Comprehensive Management Department, as well as Deputy General Manager of China Telecom Group Corporation.
The resigned Fang Xiangming was born in Qingyuan, Liaoning in August 1963. He previously served as Deputy General Manager and member of the Party Group Leadership Committee of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Limited, as well as Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of Aerospace Science and Technology Group since October 2018.
